Please read the following terms and conditions carefully, as use of and/or buying from the Belles of Chester website means that you will be bound by them. In certain instances, these terms incorporate statements to be found in the Returns and Delivery sections of our site. 


Every effort has, is and will be taken to make sure that the information in this site is correct and up to date. The information may however become inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. To the full extent permitted by law, but subject to the terms and conditions of sale referred to below, we disclaim all warrranties and representations (whether implied or expressed) as to the accuracy of any information contained on this site. 

Variation of Content:

Belles of Chester shall have the right, in its absolute discretion at any time and without notice, to amend remove or vary any of the content supplied in connection with the service offered on its website, or which appears on any page of the site. 

Content and Advertisement:

This site may contain links to other sites that are not under the control of and are not maintained by Belles of Chester. These links are provided for your convenience only and Belles of Chester is not responsible for the content or availability of those sites. 


All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price by us. Once you have made your choice and your order has been placed, you will receive an email acknowledging the details of your order. This mail is NOT an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received it. Acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Belles of Chester will only be completed when we email you to say that the goods have been despatched. The sale contract is therefore concluded in London, England and the language of the contract and governing law is English. We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event , for example, that we are unable to authorise payment for the transaction, or the item is out of stock, or that the item has been withdrawn. We may also refuse to process and therefore accept a transaction for any reason, or refuse service to anyone at our sole discretion at any time. We will not be liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any merchandise from our website, whether or not that item has been sold: removing screening or editing any materials or content on the site:refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun. We reserve the right to refuse to process any further orders from a customer until delivery of the initial order has taken place, and the time for notification of returns has expired. In the event that an item is to be returned by a customer, we reserve the right to delay delivery of any further items in any subsequent orders, until return of the original order has taken place. We reserve the right to vary these provisions regarding delivery of multiple items or orders at our sole discretion. Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard or Paypal and any other methods that may be advertised on the site from time to time. Payment will be cleared and debited from your account upon dispatch of your order by Belles of Chester When placing an order with us you undertake that all of the information you provide to us is true and accurate, that you are an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place the order, and that there are sufficient funds to cover the costs of the goods. We take all reasonable care to make our site secure. All credit card transactions are processed in a secure host enviroment, and we will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence of any negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the site. 

Pricing and Availability:

Whilst we try to ensure that all prices, details and descriptions that appear on this website are accurate, sometimes errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of any goods you have ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the goods you will receive a full refund. All prices stated are inclusive of VAT unless they are exempt. Delivery costs will be charged in addition. Such charges will be clearly displayed where applicable and included in the Grand Total. You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless, Belles of Chester, its directors, officers, consultants, agents and affliates from any and all third party claims, damages, liability, and or costs (including, but not limited, to legal fees) arising from your use of this website or your breach of its terms and conditions. 

Returning an Item:

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase(s), you can return them within 7 days of despatch, in their original unworn condition with all labels attached. When trying on items, please ensure that they are not in contact with anything that may mark or add a scent to them such as drinks, perfume and cigarettes. We cannot refund any items where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed.

Please allow 10 working days from receipt of your return for us to process a refund. This time frame is dictated by your bank or card issuer and is outside of our control. Your refund will be credited to the same card with which you made your original purchase. Delivery charges are non-refundable so you will be refunded the full value of the items returned less the delivery charge. If a discount was applied to your original order, the amount refunded will be adjusted accordingly. The cost and care of returning the item is your responsibility, therefore we suggest that you send the parcel by recorded delivery and keep a copy of the recorded delivery. Belles of Chester are not responsible for items lost by the delivery services whilst in the returns process. Please also note that we are unable to cancel orders once they have been placed so please make sure all your details are correct before completing your purchase.

How to return an item:

Please call us in the first instance on 01244 348889 for a return code. The only way to return an item is by post so follow the instructions below. Please note we do not accept return items bought from anywhere other than

Enclose your invoice (or a copy) with your goods in a securely wrapped parcel. Returns sent without an invoice can take us longer to process. Please ensure you include this with your returned items.

Post the item, making sure that you keep your recorded delivery and/or proof of postage in a safe place until you receive your refund. Please note that we do not offer pre-paid postal returns.

If the item you received is faulty, please return the item to the above address, following the procedure as outlined above. Please ensure that you mark the return reason as Faulty on your invoice and give us a brief description of the fault.

In the unlikely event that you have received your order and an item is missing, please contact us, quoting your order number and the missing item and they will further investigate.

Returns outside of our returns Policy:

Should we receive your return outside of the Returns Policy your item mayl not be accepted by our returns department and you will be notified by email. Your goods will be kept at Head Office for 4 weeks in order to allow you to arrange for them to be resent to you. You can do this by clicking here to pay for the return postage. All items will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Store Purchases:

Unfortunately, we cannot accept return items purchased from other stores. You will need to return these to the store from which they were purchased. Please note that we cannot accept responsibility for any items returned to us that were not purchased from this website.


We do offer exchanges on goods which do not fit. It will take up to 14 working days for you to receive your exchange. We can only offer a replacement of the same product. Once the exchange has been processed the parcel will be delivered by Royal Mail recorded 1st class post. If we are unable to exchange the item (as the required size is not available) we will send you an email explaining why and arrange a refund to your account.
